Here’s a book you don’t want to be without… the Guinness World Records 2009: Gamer’s Edition is packed with Pokémon facts and figures…
For example, take a look at the Pokémon fan in the picture below; this is Belle Starenchak of the USA. She has the largest Pokémon collection in the entire world! Believe it or not she has 5,456 items of Pokémon memorabilia (probably more since this photo was taken). She sleeps with hundreds of Pikachu every night and has been collecting her stuff for over ten years! We thought some of the collections we get sent in to PokéChat were big, but this girl deserves to be in the Guinness World Records book!
The book is packed with interesting videogame facts, too. For example, there’s a fact about the Japanese version of Pokémon: The First Movie that you probably don’t know. The main characters are named Satoshi and Shigeru after Pokémon game creators Satoshi Tajiri and Shigeru Miyamoto – what a great tribute to the geniuses behind the Pokémon games!
Being the phenomenon that we all know, it won’t surprise you to learn that Pokémon is in the Top 50 console games. At number 26 in fact: Pokémon Red and Blue. The games were nominated because they were the first to introduce monster hunting to the West and breathed new life into Nintendo’s Game Boy. This top book is on sale now.
i have exactly 1,242 pokemon cards and on my pokemon gameboy advance game i have an articuno, a groudon, about 9 absols, about 9 level 100’s, and i beat the Elite Four about… 200 times! i beat them (and been beating them) ever since i was like 7 years old! i have 2 articuno pokemon cards, and like 5 arceus, and about 60 deltas, and i just can’t tell you how much i love absol! i mean… not to brag… but…

One of my fans directed me here to see this, yes that’s just only a slice of my Pikachu collection in that pic, since my Guinness Records was made in April of 2008 I have long surpassed the number of 5,456 items I have over 8,000 now at least and yes I do own one of the official Pokemon Pikachu VW’s as well, I do ALOT of pokemon sponsered events here in the US as well as numerous other kid related events, this weekend I will be a guest at ToysRus for a Pokemon Event.
Recently I just got into the main book of 2010 Guinness Book of world Records as well so that’s an even higher honor to actually go beyond just the Gamers Edition and get in the main book.
But ya I heard from my fans that I have been featured in this magazine a few times and would really love a copy of them so I can put them in my scrapbook. How do I go by doing that?
