We told you back in issue 91’s Pokémon Platinum Expert Players’ Guide that UK events for the great Regigigas giveaway would be announced soon, and now we have exciting news… well almost!
Nintendo’s website was recently updated with a holding page showing details of the Regigigas giveaway event that Pokémon fans around the world have already enjoyed. Players in America and Canada already have their event Regigigas, and in Japan is was given away as a special 11th Pokémon movie download. So keep checking the Nintendo site at ms.nintendo-europe.com/regigigas/ to see when it’s our turn!
It is thought that this new Regigigas is at a whopping Level 100 and knows Crush Grip, Icy Wind, Iron Head and Rock Slide. Once in your Platinum game, this Regigigas opens up three new caves that were useless to you before – they only contained a Nevermeltice. When the time comes you will have to make sure the Regigigas is on your team and enter the special cave on Route 228 – the entrance is hidden by a rock. You enter a location that has a statue at the top and must then step on all the dots on the ground and walk up to the statue to make a Lv.30 Regirock attack! It’s a similar story for Regice and Registeel.

after trying to catch the regi’s on ruby something like this has to come up when ever im working hard for regigigas still does anyone know when its out in england

I already have Regigigas because I used Action Replay.
I think there should be an event to get pokemon like Groudon and Kyogre, because most of the events for Pearl,Diamond and Platinum are just Sinnoh region pokemon.

I feel a bit dissapointed…
1. I got PBR, and it was a bit… restricted, the best bit for me was the exclusiveness of getting surf pikachu. I hear from serribi that there’s going to be a surf AND fly pikachu released.
2. Im currently playing emerald for regigigas, and now this.
So yeah 2 ways of getting a pokemon for me I don’t exactly call ‘rare’. And people have trained their regigigas…
I would have prefered this event to have been a new pokemon, for some reason getting regigigas makes me feel less proud now… =[
