Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have joined forces to create the Pokémon Village Fête – a place where all the goodness of the Pokémon world comes together to celebrate Pokémon gaming, Pokémon movies and Pokémon Trading Card Game!
These free events are going to be a family favourite this Summer – treat yourself to a trip through the magical land of Pokémon. Play the very latest videogames for Nintendo DS and Wii, watch a screening of the 11th Pokémon movie – Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior, and discover the colossal Regigigas for yourself. You can receive the 486th Pokémon directly in your Diamond, Pearl or Platinum games if you take them along. Once this special Pokémon has been added to your party you can then unlock the locations of Registeel, Regice and Regirock! Find our more about this unique download at regigigas.nintendo.co.uk!
That not enough for you? Well how about getting your face painted like a Pokémon? Want more? Have your photo taken with the stars of Pokémon or get a balloon Pokémon made especially for you!
If you’re a Pokémon beginner, you can enrol yourself in the ‘Pokémon Training Academy’ where experts will teach you the important vital skills essential to become a successful Pokémon Trainer. Once trained up you can go on to enter the ‘Challenge Zone’ where you can battle other Pokémon Trainers using Diamond, Pearl or Platinum. Then take your best Pokémon and transfer them for big screen battles on Pokémon Battle Revolution for Wii.
The Pokémon Village Fête will also give all families the chance to win a family holiday to a Haven holiday park during March, April or May 2010 – so grab mum and dad and get them down to the following places this Summertime…

craig u lier buizelchamp is the ultimate pokemon fan i mean he is going to liverpool from manchester just to get this regigigas and then the other 3 regi’s and 3 more regigigas’s (one 4 platinum,diamond & pearl)

ITS KINDA LIKE THE POKE’MON SUMMER DAY CAMP BACK IN 2007 WHERE YOU GET A MEW LEVEL 10 ON EACH GBA GAME THAT YOU OWN AND YOU COULD GET A POKE’MON BALLON (I GOT A CHIMCHAR) AND YOU CAN WATCH FREE POKEMON EPISODES.

Why is there none in WALES!!!! its really annoying because we only got the Shaymin for diamond and pearl and what so that means we aren’t allowed a platinum event now? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SEARCH FOR GIRATINA???????? HOW COME THERES NO SEARCH FOR THE REGIS FOR US NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you change your mind and send some releases for Wales I would suggest one in Cardiff and one for North Wales and East and West Wales too!!!!!!!

yh the village fete was awesome today i got 2 regigigas’s from diamond and platinum, i also got two of the trading cards, pikachu and piplup, it was uber
I took two of my sons and we had a fantastic time,the staff where great,great tips and tricks,just not enough face painters and balloon model people but otherwise great.

is not fair. they always have them in japan and the UK,sometimes even in the US. but never any where else like Austrailia or ialoy or ireland. i reackon there should be like a pokemon world tour and they have festivals for nerds and adults alike.me and my friends are like RRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYY into pokemon and we call each other the nerd herd,giggle.
