OFFICIAL NINTENDO PRESS RELEASE: March 23, 2010. RE: Launch of New Portable Game Machine. Nintendo Co., Ltd (Minami-ward of Kyoto City, President Satoru Iwata) will launch “Nintendo 3DS” (temp) during the fiscal year ending March 2011, on which games can be enjoyed with 3D effects without the need for any special glasses.
“Nintendo 3DS” (temp) is going to be the new portable game machine to succeed “Nintendo DS series”, whose cumulative consolidated sales from Nintendo amounted to 125 million units as of the end of December 2009, and will include backward compatibility so that the software for Nintendo DS series, including the ones for Nintendo DSi, can also be enjoyed.
We are planning to announce additional details at E3 show, which is scheduled to be held from June 15, 2010 at Los Angeles in the U.S.
What about The DSI XL
This sounds good but if you have to wear 3D glasses every time I don’t think i’ll get it. It sure looks fun though.

If you have Pokemon Heart Gold and would like a Heracross, then follow these steps…
1 go to the Azalea Gym after getting heatbutt,
2 headbutt the 4th tree from the right bellow the gym
3 and catch as many Heracross’s as you need!!!!!

The DSi XL is just a bigger DSi (with the same small buttons and screen resolution
), the 3DS instead is a revolution!
Let’s see if the Sharp parallax barrier 3D technology works well as it seems, coupled with head movement tracking 3D gaming on this technological wonder could become an affordable reality.

WOW!That would be really amazing to see a dragon pulse or some other move litrally hit you! And with no need for those silly 3D nerd goggles! the only problem is many people will want this new console but i have a nintendo dsi and i have downloaded atuff from the shop channel! i have played them all for a very long time but i am still not willing to give it up just yet, i think i’ve made up my mind on this new 3D console [one of the things i downloaded was the Mario clock it is awesome only 200 DS points brilliant!] from

The 3DS willbe great it will be a developed DSI XL we are just speculating at the moment, the details will be released at a conference in July we will know more then.
