Wow! Exciting news. With the 13th Pokémon movie coming soon in Japan, and new Pokémon games on the horizon, we can now reveal that Arceus is not to be the last Pokémon after all! Two new monsters have been revealed in Japan: Zorua and Zoroark. They are both part of the same evolutionary chain, and have similar colourings. We’ve put together our own artist’s impressions of these two new Pokémon here for you, as no official artwork has been released yet – but what exciting news eh?
Before this revelation it was thought that Suicune, Raikou, Entei and Celebi were the main Pokémon in the 13th movie – the name has been officially announced as The Ruler of Illusions Zoroark. We can now add Zorua and Zoroark to the star list. The poster you see here on the left is the teaser poster for the movie that is being shown in Japan. We expect there to be an exciting new movie poster soon, with these two foxy Pokémon now let out of the bag!
Up until now we have been calling the new movie Phantom Champion: Zoroark. When a Japanese movie is first announced, you get various versions of the title. From what we can gather so far from the trailers, Celebi and the Legendary beasts play major roles, and it seems that time travel may be involved once again (a favourite in Pokémon movies)! The other thing we’ve noticed is that these two new fox Pokémon are Dark Pokémon, and Ash meets a Dark version of himself in the movie. Wow!

Classification: Evil Fox Pokémon
This is the Japanese name of this new Pokémon. It is an Evil Fox Pokémon and will be first seen in the 13th Pokémon movie called The Ruler of Illusions Zoroark.

Type: Dark
Height: 1.6m
Weight: 81.1kg
Classification: Monster Fox Pokémon
When Zorua evolves, this is what it becomes: Zoroark. This Pokémon was first revealed as a silhouette on the Japanese Pokémon Sunday show back on 7 February. Of course, we all knew something cool was going on when we found out that the new movie was to be called Phantom Champion Z – obviously The Pokémon Company were teasing everyone with the name, as it has now been confirmed that the Z stands for Zoroark.

The movie ends with Z so could do with the 2 pokemon like experiment z or sumthin also it could have loads of legends just by lookin at the cover or poster

Why do you say those are your artists impressions because no artwork is out? The artwork is out and that is what they show.
Why did you say that No Artwork has been released and those are your artists impressions? The artwork was released before this article and those are what they actually are.
We said “No Artwork has been released” because it hasn’t officially to the UK press. Since we wrote the article, the Japanese website has some artwork.
what game did you get them off
That is the Official Artwork released in the CoroCoro Magazine Not your Artists Impression you did the same with Skymin why do you say that? Anyways it’s the Master of Illusions and can Morph into anything It also seems to be The “Dark Ash” in the movie.
the are 150 new pokemon coming out in a new pokémon game out.
We say artists impression because we drew this artwork based on lowers Internet pics. We’ll probably get official art from Nintendo around 2011.

Its just been announced on a Japanese website that the fifth gen will come out around november/december 2010, so in England it should be about february, march hopefully:) and if were seriously unlucky it’ll be may… But hopefully we wont be! I wonder what they’re english names will be.. Hopefully the same! Two new AWESOME pokemon!

No they won’t be on Heart Gold or Soul Silver they will be in Gen V when thats out next year possibly if you want more information on stuff like this i suggest using this site http://www.serebii.net/index2.shtml for the latest updates of the pokemon world.
Zoroark and zorua are not in HG and SS they are avalible though with the help of a code. I have one on my ds :3 I live in Hokkaido and just came back to GB last week.

these pokemon look lame. although the tall one is cool the small one looks a bit like shaymin… but dark and i think it can be caught on lv30 like shaymin and the tall one can be caught on lv50 maybe

They aren’t your own impressions – you just re-coloured Sugimori’s artwork.
No they won’t, they’ll be featured in the next main Pokémon titles which are scheduled to be released in Japan later this year – Heart Gold and Soul Silver has been out since September in Japan, so if they were in those games I think we’d have known about it before now.
Also, the two pieces of artwork above aren’t your own, you just re-coloured the official Sugimori art, which WAS featured alongside the announcement of the two new Pokémon.

The amount of pokemon is getting out of hand, i mean how many are there now. 493? Its going over the top. The show has already hit rock bottom and soon the games will if they keep releasing new generations of pokemon. Make new regions add a couple of legendary’s every few games. But stop with the new gen’s it’s getting out of hand IMO.
The 5th gen games are going to be called Pokemon Black and Pokemon White. TRUE FACT! SO DO NOT CALL ME A LIER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
