If you’ve got a Wi-Fi connection at home, or if not, if you get yourself down to a local café with Wi-Fi before 13 September, then there’s a special prize waiting for you in Pokémon Platinum! The game, like DIamond and Pearl before it, includes functionality to obtain a gift from Nintendo over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. In Platinum there’s a variety of items and Pokémon being given away like this, the latest is a Member’s Card that will be available for just a short time.
To activate the Mystery Gift option in your game (as we have told you before) you must visit the couple on the third floor of the Jubilife TV Station. When prompted to enter words you must type in: Everyone, Happy, Wi-Fi, Connection. A new option will then appear on the main menu screen.
Once you have downloaded the Member Card over Wi-Fi you can pick it up in your game by visiting the Pokémart. Now head off to Canalave City and you can now enter the Inn that was previously locked. Once inside you must go to bed, fall asleep and you will wake up on the mysterious New Moon Island! Adventure around the island until you find the centre, here you will discover Darkrai, the Pokémon is at Lv.50 so the battle with it is going to be tough! If you manage to capture the monster, a booming voice will explain why Darkrai was placed on New Moon Island in the first place! We won’t spoil it for you here, it might give you nightmares!

darkrai is kinda dumb cause it used nightmare when i was awake and hpnosis when i was asleep.
Yh darkrai is not very clever on choice of moves but its moveset is alright Hypnosis, Nightmare, Double Team and Faint attack however i got rid of double team and faint attack for Dream Eater and Dark Pulse
He may not be smart in the wild but as Oliver said his moves are descent

Already had Darkrai[traded a heatran from diamond for him no worries got another heatran from platinum anyway]Hmmmmm…..actually 2 Darkrais in one tag battle sounds pretty cool…plus double damage from the bad dreams ability.I think I might get a second Darkrai after all…..

I got my Darkrai on Tuesday when it was first out Serious Nature its got a rubbish move set compared to my ALAMOS Darkrai which has Roar of Time, Spacial Rend, Hypnosis and Dream Eater
I ACTUALLY CAUGHT HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Knocked his health down to 1hp then threw a Dusk Ball. It was night so it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

If you use the move False Swipe (TM) on Darkrai, it’ll prevent Darkrai from fainting AND cut Darkrai’s HP down to 1! It worked for me…

When is the Shymin and Arceus item coming out, and when are all three coming out in diamond and pearl?
Caught it first time. Hopefully they’ll release the Oak’s letter in Europe soon. It helps if you try at night and use dusk balls. They’re cheaper than ultra balls (x2 capture rate for £1200) and stronger (4x capture rate.) Don’t forget false swipe! Not many pokémon can learn it but it’s worth finding one that can! I’ve got a mew, that helped me.
Ive gotta wit until the 20th of August to get it, im on holiday. Oh well, aslong as I can get it. Not teaching it Dark Void though, its the most annoying move in the world, Darkrai is strong enought to function with Dark Void. The move is just for people who cant battle properly, ot have enough skill. IT DOESNT NEED DARK VOID PEOPLE.

I got him, i used an extra masterball i got by some stupid kid that traded me an arceus (hacked with a masterball equiped) for my charizard
This means I have to find my game card where ever it is. But YAY! anyway. =)
yes all i have to do now is get it use my lv100 meowths false swipe at night and use a dusk ball and bang a good darkria thats not from an ar or game shark and hopefully it will do something in heart gold and soul silver. yay!!yay!!! yaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Yay! I finally managed to catch it yesterday (after a lot of resetting!). I try to catch Legendary Pokemon in Pokeballs, and yes, I do have a lot of time on my hands! =]

i dont need to do this cuz i did it on diamond before and traded it to platinum I even got an Arceus!! no ar or gameshark you see i went to japan for a holiday and i went just when they did the arceus event (lucky me!)obviously it was in japanese so i had to nickname it and guess what! i accidently gave it all HM moves!! (move deleter here i come!) oh ya and in japan i got shaymin too! HE RULES!!! oh right they have no gender… uuuhhhh oh well! oh boy ive blabbered on again(sorry)

u need to access darkrai,
here r some intructions hot to get him!
after completing the sinnow dex go to the canlave sailors house,
his son will be having a nightmare,
after some talking go to the sailor and u will be able to go to half moon island,
go up and and eventuly u will find Cresselia talk to it and it will fly away get the item ,
go to the sailors has once again and the item u will get will cure the boys nightmare,
now u r able to go in the inn!!!!
wen u get in ther ul take a sleep,
and u dream that ur on a island (full moon island),
like with half moon island go up and u will eventuly get to darkrai,
after u caught him ull go back to the inn and wake up but ul still have darkrai!!(come on)
