By now you will all know that Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver are both in the shops on 26 March, but here’s some exciting news for you… UK games retailer GAME is planning a cool two week run-up to the big day with a Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver event at participating stores.
Pop along to get a chance of playing the new Pokémon adventures before everyone else. You will be able to meet likeminded Pokémon fans, get some expert tips from a resident Pokémon Professor, trade with other Trainers and battle to determine who is the best. There will also be face painting and balloon modelling at some stores – you just make sure you send us pictures of yourself with that Pikachu facepaint on!
While you are there, and this is the really exciting bit, you will also be allowed to download the mighty Arceus to your Diamond, Pearl or Platinum games, so make sure you take your DS along with you. There are also rumours that GAME will be giving away models of Arceus, Lugia and Ho-Oh to those that buy Pokémon stuff on the day, but check with your local store for more details as we couldn’t get them to confirm this.

Speaking about HeartGold… When I was at Tesco I got 2 HG/SS booster packs and in my first pack I got A POKEMON PRIME

I am well ticked off, they swaped the days around in the bristol one at the last minute without me realising, so I ended up going a day late
