What? Can it be? 100 issues? Yes, that’s right. In February Pokémon World magazine celebrates its 100th issue!

It’s hard to believe that a magazine we launched back in 2000 to entertain fans of a new videogame and cartoon series would still be going ten years on. But thanks to all the loyal Pokémon fans out there, we will be celebrating our 100th issue in February. To mark this momentous occasion we are running a competition and asking you to vote for your No.1 Pokémon of all time.

All you’ve got to do is click this email link below and simply tell us the name of your No.1 Pokémon, then include your name, age and address details too. We will compile a Top Ten of the most popular monsters and bring you all the results in issue 100, on sale 4th February 2010. There will be some very special free gifts with the 100th issue too – including a special cardboard model of the No.1 Pokémon that you vote for!

So, “What’s up for grabs?!” we hear you cry! Well we’ve put together a Pokémon goodie bag from stuff we’ve been sent over the years. There are Pokémon Trading Cards, Pokémon toys, Pokémon games and Pokémon World books. The exact contents of our goodie bag is a secret (and likely to change and increase in size as we find more stuff to include!) but this is a prize that all Pokémon fans are going to love!
