Pokémon Crystal
How to clone Pokémon!
1. First of all fly off to the Pokémon Center.
2. Now save your game the moment you enter.
3. Get yourself over to the PC and save again.
4. Turn the PC on, then go over to Bill’s PC and turn his computer on too.
5. Find the Pokémon you want to clone and put in into an empty box.
6. Now select change box and change to an empty box.
7. Now turn your Game Boy off just before it has finished saving the game.
8. Here’s the clever bit! When you switch your Game Boy back on you will have the chosen Pokémoon in your party to use!
Get stronger Pokémon
If you chosen to play as a male Pokémon trailer, make sure you only catch female Pokémon! The same the other way around too – catch only male Pokémon if you’re a female trailer. They will learn to love you faster and so will become stronger in no time at all!

Pokémon Channel
Mini-game strategies
Here are strategies for getting the most of some of the mini-games you will encounter on your adventure…
Pokémon Pinball Petit
If you’ve completed the Quest mode you get to play as Pikachu, otherwise it’s Diglett. The game is pretty simple, so rack up some points!
Snorlax’s Lunch Time
You get to control old Snorlax and help him stuff his face, but watch out for the Pichu – you shouldn’t eat him! Keep a regular beat and you should be fine.
Pikachu’s Rocket Start
The trick here is to press the A button really fast as soon as you feel the vibration start. Pikachu will soon be rocketing away!
Slowking’s Judge
Was the ball in or out? There’s plenty of time to decide so don’t panic and it’s best to wait until you’re really sure. The more you get right, the tougher it becomes!
DID YOU KNOW?
In Channel you can jump to the next day by changing the time on your GameCube. Don’t worry, it won’t harm your game save!

Actually, I’ve managed to find plenty of good cheats for the Pokemon games elsewhere. You’ll find there are hundreds of interesting glitches you can do with the older games and a lot of the spin-off games actually have propper codes and stuff. By the way, I used to LOVE your magazine but I stopped collecting it when the Pokemon content hit less than 10% and the other 90% became non-Pokemon related advertising.
i tried all of them and they are awesome
arceusgirantinadialgapalkia you totally copied everything i said!
good on ya poke. but arceus has a point the cheats are rubbish but the cloning does work arceus you need a nugget held to the pokemon you want cloning (also gets you another nugget sweet!).
i really like pokémon world magazine and website although it is not as good as serebii’s its still the best site I know for pokémon in the UK which makes it better for UK gamers because it gives you info about tournaments that happen in the UK even if the cheats don’t work you still thank them for their totally awesome website and magazine even if some of you are from the US you should at least thank them for their hard work, moreover I am a UK pokémon gamer and fan so I support their website it does not mean that I just like this web site I also like serabiis because of the pokédex they have there but I also like this website because its got all the UK pokémon info I need and despite some peoples comments like Arceusgiratinadiaglapalkia comment this is actually a very respected site so keep your nasty comments to your self thanks
the cloning does acually work on crystal arceus but you need a nugget held on your pokemon.everyone forgets that tiny little detail.Because of that cloning ive got 4 typhlosions and 6 suicunes
Wait a minute…The pkmn world team can post on here? It makes sense, but it doesn’t make sense.(i bet what i just said doesn’t make sense either)
wait someone noticed how bad this really is…YES! FINALLY!
i agree with ss on the name thing
yeah that would be better than chanseys cheats, thank you
Hmm, maybe your right, but you know… there are actually very few actual cheats in Pokémon games. Would you rather we called the section “Chansey’s Instructions on how to PLAY the actual game”?
I agree with Spark (as bad as their spelling is). These aren’t propper cheats. Pokemon Channel mini game strategies? Puh-LEASE. They’re instructions on how to PLAY the actual game.
site best
Oh yeah SS i hadnt noticed that.
all good things
3Clq0L I want to say – thank you for this!
and also there title is spelled wrong it says chancey’s cheats but chancey is spelled chansey
