Yes, it’s true! The Pokémon episode ‘Fossil Fools’ tells the story of when Ash and his travelling companions visited the Ruins of Alph, a site of prehistoric Pokémon fossils and ancient mysteries. Here they find the Pokémon Omanyte and Omastar living, a species long thought extinct. They meet with Professor Oak and one of his students, Foster, and learn that Pokémon actually date back to 2 million years ago. Foster is an expert in the fossils and has been amazed to find Pokémon like Omanyte and Omastar living in the artificial ponds in the ruins.
He uses the CCTV system installed for security to monitor the Pokémon’s behaviour and study them more closely than has ever been possible before. Foster has a theory that all Pokémon life began in the sea as so many fossils of ancient Pokémon have been discovered in the water. It’s not long before Team Rocket also learn about the existence of these special Pokémon and set about spoiling the tour of the fossils that Professor Oak has arranged for Ash and his friends. Can Ash stop Team Rocket from stealing these newly discovered Pokémon?
i seen most pokemon eps when i was younger yeah its neat^_^

ya well ive seen them episodes, i think they were alot better then the newer episodes especially the first few episodes like when he got his first pokemon(pikachu) and then his caterpie ect…

This is somewhere around 200th episode, not Attack of the Prehistoric Pokemon. This ep focus around Omanyte and Omastar and action takes place in Johto. Seems some ppl here havent watched closly
I only got interested in pokemon in 2007 so youd expect me not to know about it alot but i watch the old seasons on youtube.ps im posting this from a dsi

no afence to anyone who likes the new show but its a bit over the top,
the same story over and over again,
the gang do somthing,some one needs heir help,they exept,team rockect show up,they battle-them blast off,complete what the needed to do and the end of the episode!
not quite everything their is always the same but most of it is
well not really there are gym battles, contests and many more and so far as i know ash has 7 badges in sinnoh

oh! this is so fine all the time singing on the computer pokemon rules all the uk ok i love it so much it is the best oh yeah (that a made up song)

The show does get a bit boring but if you watch pokemon
galactic battles on youtube it’s great!
