The Pokémon Videogame Championships kick off next month with events all over the world. All the winners from the participating countries will come together in Hawaii on 14 and 15 August to find out who will be crowned the No.1 Pokémon gamer of the world!
Want to take part? Well you’re going to have to get yourself organised real quick, the UK event takes place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham on 29 May. Doors open at 9.30am and you’ll need a copy of HeartGold or SoulSilver with your DS to take part.
If you miss the UK event and you’re really keen, you could always try Cologne in Germany on 5 June, Lyon in France on 12 June or Madrid in Spain on 19 June. Good luck!

I have tried the torlament 5 years in a row so when i was 5 i started but i never one but last year i did come 7th
Me and my buddies might be tagging along, they agreed to acompany me to feed my obsession.
I’ll probably loose though but at least I can loose WITHOUT legendaries on my side! My new meganium Guache might make his debut :3

I am attending this year and I can tell you if you go to any pokémon event. This is the greatest and most memorable because you meet SO many new friends and rivals here and get to do awesome discussions plus meet some of the greatest players in the UK and whom will be going to the world stage to represent great britain.
Since they’ve forgotten. You also get a Shiny eevee for just going to the event! So go!

Tom you really think you can win with those legendary ubers? I dont even think what ev training means. I got lvl 100 evd Infernape Sceptlile Drapion Bibarel (is beast if you know how to use him with simple ability) Zapdos Blissey (Or should i say annoying bliss) andmy best pokemon, rattata with endeaver and quick atack focus sashed ^_^

i went to the one in birmingham it was great i lost in the 3rd round because of this guys salmence kept on using draco meteor and i had 3 dragon types and 1 water
i went to the one in Burmingham, 10 away from the door i was turned away because they had filled up all the slots. I got really annoyed with that…
i was turned away still outside the building so i had no hope of getting in
but still,
i did a few good trades and won 5 of 7 free battles with randomers so the day was great
I was ment to go but I did`nt as I hate battles with Lengards
I feel like I’ve been training my whole life for this competition, and we are going! My very supportive man and his best friend are coming along, and we’ll be taking plenty of photos too. It’ll be our first time in Indianapolis, so hopefully it’ll be a great experience. I have plenty of faith in my team, but only one legendary is on it. Hope I can compete with the several teams that have both Kyogre and Dialga on them.
