Yes! At last we can see the three new starter Pokémon in action, thanks to some excellent videos that have been shown off on the official Pokémon Black Version and White Version website in Japan.

The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo revealed today that Pokémon™ Black Version and Pokémon White Version, featuring the next generation of all-new Pokémon, will be released for the Nintendo DS™ family of systems in spring 2011 in Europe and North America. Additionally, the companies divulged that new Legendary Pokémon Reshiram™ (Pokémon Black Version) and Zekrom™ (Pokémon White Version) will be featured on the covers of the all-new releases worldwide.

Well… in Japan at least! Exciting news was announced today on the Pokémon Japan website. The first of the fifth generation Pokémon games will be released in Japan this Autumn.

Yes it’s true handheld console fans! Nintendo has just announced in Japan that they are working on a new version of the Nintendo DS with the working title of Nintendo 3DS. They just love their soundtrack CDs over in Japan, especially when it comes to Pokémon! Whether it’s a movie, the cartoon series or the videogames, there’s a soundtrack CD to accompany the release. Here’s a look at the new CDs out now for HeartGold and SoulSilver. We play nothing else in the Pokémon World office!

We’ve unearthed a second TV ad for HeartGold and SoulSilver from the Japanese TV screens. This one has more of that wonderful animation, this time with the cover star Pokémon on it. You can also see some really exciting gameplay footage showing the Pokémon following your Trainer character around, and riding on top of a giant spider. Watch out for that PokéWalker gadget in action too! Exciting stuff!
