You won’t find a Jirachi in your HeartGold or SoulSilver games, but Nintendo has given you the chance to download a special Jirachi between 26 June and 19 July!

Nintendo made some great announcements at E3 in Los Angeles his week including the new Nintendo 3DS (a bit tricky to see the 3D without holding one in your hand) and some cool Wii games like Kirby’s Epic Yarn, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Disney Epic Mickey, Donkey Kong Country Returns and Mario Sports Mix. Just like we have the Pokémon Videogames Championship, and Pokémon Trading Card Game events in the Western world, over in Japan they love getting together to challenge each other to Pokémon battles. We stumbled up0n this TV ad inviting Pokémon fans to a mammoth gaming and card event. Wanna go?

By now you will all know that Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver are both in the shops on 26 March, but here’s some exciting news for you… UK games retailer GAME is planning a cool two week run-up to the big day with a Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver event at participating stores.

We told you back in issue 91′s Pokémon Platinum Expert Players’ Guide that UK events for the great Regigigas giveaway would be announced soon, and now we have exciting news… well almost! Nintendo’s website was recently updated with a holding page showing details of the Regigigas giveaway event that Pokémon fans around the world have already enjoyed. Players in America and Canada already have their event Regigigas, and in Japan is was given away as a special 11th Pokémon movie download. So keep checking the Nintendo site at ms.nintendo-europe.com/regigigas/ to see when it’s our turn!

Just how cool does PokéPark look eh? Here you can see the full map of the theme park that was set up for the Summer of 2006 outside the National Taiwan Science Education Center in Taipei, Taiwan. It was a collaboration between The Pokémon Company, P-project Inc, TV Tokyo and Nintendo and slowly made its way around the world – 2005’s Poképark was in Japan and attracted 4.15 million visitors!
